Well thank you. I enjoyed looking at your bird drawings, too, especially this one.
Great Pics they really show that Britain has got a wide diverse selection of birds.

Your picture’s of birds are so beautiful and Britain is well know for their diversity. My favourite’s are the Blackbird for its song and the cheeky great tit.who visit many gardens where they find food.
Thank you for sharing your photos of beautiful birds from your garden.. ..
and the post….
What a great tribute to a young American gymnast of colour who won a gold….
if I detected this thought correctly ?
Oh dear, no, I hadn’t been thinking of that particular gymnast – it’s funny how the word “black” has ethnic meaning as well – it never crosses my mind. However, now you mention it, I would certainly pay tribute to all the gymnasts, of whatever age, colour or nationality, and indeed every competitor in London 2012. My own favourite moment was Nicola Adams’ gold medal – the first for women’s boxing in the Olympics. And I guess Nicola, from Leeds, might be called “a person of colour”, although I just see her as a Yorkshirewoman š
Best wishes…
