As the title of this gallery suggests, these are just snapshots taken with my iPhone 4 camera. The quality and clarity are a bit variable.
I am starting to find this sort of photography addictive, as it is so easy – no need to carry a “proper” camera, just point and click when you see something that interests you.
Mostly this has been Cardiff street scenes and, of course, nature.
It’s a feeling I haven’t had since my first Kodak Instamatic 133 camera.
The newest iPhone pictures go on top of the gallery, so hopefully an improvement in my technique will be observed!

The same as below, but on September 24 – the larva is now looking more like a ladybird/ladybug – probably an invasive harlequin – and no one has knocked it off the bus stop yet!

Living legend Rolf Harris was in our Media Wales office on May 8, 2012, to film for his series on Welsh art – he was looking at the work of our former cartoonist Gren Jones. I took Rolf shopping for pens but didn’t dare ask for his autograph or a picture! This is his tour vehicle, next to our little white Fiat 500 pool cars…
