Berries of mountain ash or rowan (Sorbus aucuparia) in late September
It’s that time again for the monthly tree-following link box, which will stay open for your tree-related links until 7pm GMT on October 14.
Here in Cardiff autumn has begun with very heavy rains and cold temperatures, leavened by the occasional sunny spell. It really feels what my Yorkshire mother-in-law would call “back-endish”.
During the next week I hope to visit the Lombardy poplar tree I am monitoring in Victoria Park, not too far from home, but I wonder what the rest of you tree followers are up to?
I’m sure you will have something new to report. Any tree-related post is acceptable from contributors old and new.
Point to the post you would like to share, using the link box below. And please don’t forget to leave a comment.
If you are new to tree following, read all about the idea here.
Hello, I’ve just published and linked our post. As you’ll see it’s Liz’s tree that is of main interest this month. Take care. xx
They are both endlessly interesting!
Thanks for joining in again π
Hi Pat, just posted and linked.
Thank you – the park is beautiful and full of interest as always.
Best wishes π
Hi – thanks for hosting this meme again this month – its always a pleasure to take part and see everyone else’s trees.
And I never tire of your quinces – the latest is very downy and almost luminescent…
Keep up the good work π
We’ve gone from superdry summer to rainy autumn. And the rowan tree has problems keeping up with the neighbours.
But it is a gorgeous colour…
Thank you for taking part again π
Pat, my post is up. Not much tree news so I added the last flowers, sigh.
The wild flowers are always fascinating and colourful, so throw in as much bonus material as you like!
Thanks for joining in again.
All the best π
Hi, thanks for hosting as always. I’ve just popped my link up.
And thank you for joining in – it’s lovely to see your park in a new light this time – and with company.
All the best π
