Something That Makes You Laugh or Happy: This tiny teddy bear among the ivy on top of a wall beside the street amused me for weeks, although it has disappeared now – I hope it has found its owner or gone to a good home
At last I think I have cracked this year’s Summer Photography Scavenger Hunt hosted by Mary-Lou at Patio Postcards. I skipped August as I had so little to report but here, belatedly, is my final round-up to complete the list of challenges…

Favourite Time Of Day: I should say that a red dawn at the end of summer uplifts my spirits…

…however, my real favourite time of day is an hour before bed watching TV programmes on my iPad, with my feet up – current favourites are Young Montalbano (in Italian, with subtitles), Fort Salem, Endeavour and, of course, Strictly Come Dancing, which starts as summer ends!

Something To Represent Home But Not The Building: Where I lay my head at night, that’s my home

The Shape of Round/Circular: Glass, bowl and plates

The Shape of Round/Circular: Carousel in Queen Street, Cardiff

The Shape of Round/Circular: Coasters made from Welsh slate in a city souvenir shop

Something That Is Cause For Celebration: There is not much to celebrate in my working-from-home life these days but I do love the surprise find of fungi – these were bold as you like on a birch tree on a city street

Your Marie Kondo Moment – Or Not: This is embarrassing – it’s all that’s left of a Marie Kondo splurge I had a year or two ago, as the rolled vests have never been worn since and everything that I do wear is simply squashed into the drawer

Inside Your Fridge or Cupboard: I couldn’t make my fridge as tidy as I wanted, but the kitchen cupboards are always pretty well organised

Best Doodle Art: I have no time to doodle but if I make myself do it I like to make space-filling patterns with a black pen

Steps, But Who’s Counting: The climb up into the wild part of my garden

Steps, But Who’s Counting: Gentle steps up to Conway Road Methodist Church
And finally..

The most beautiful landscape photo of the season: I haven’t left the city in over a year, so have not seen countryside – this is the closest I get, the bandstand in Victoria Park
Thanks to Mary-Lou for a thoughtful list of subjects – I will enjoy looking back over other bloggers’ interpretations.

Got there in the end…
Thanks for playing along with SPSH. You had some really cool finds. I would also find the TeddyBear in the ivy amusing. As for your Marie Kondo moment, very tidy & like you I find the rolling technique doesn’t seem to like my t-shirt materials as my rolls always fold over. WOW your cupboard is very tidy!
Thanks for your kind words. I am still desperately trying to find time to browse all the other participants’ offerings. My time is not my own at the moment (working full-time at home and with a husband who need a bit of care).
The tidy cupboard is the husband’s obsession/good work, not mine!
All the best – and I look forward to the next challenge 🙂
I have stayed with M K for T shirts and shirts. Folded enough for my collection to fill the space across a wardrobe shelf. So much easier to ‘pull out a book’ instead winkling out That One in the middle of the former stack.
That sounds like a great idea. Unfortunately in multi-layered drawers it my rolled T-shirts soon get out of hand. I will have to re-roll them taller and thinner so they look like books on end.
All the best 🙂
that’s very sweet! The Friends group of one of our local parks holds a teddy bear hunt twice a year (or did pre-COVID). Bears are hidden away in trees and elsewhere in the park and children and their parents enjoy searching for them.

I wonder if that’s what this was? I think it was eventually found or adopted by a new family as it is not there any more.
Best wishes 🙂
