Something with legs: I noticed this large, faded ladybird/ladybug decoration on the wall of an old house in Cowbridge Road East, Cardiff
I have signed up again for the Winter Photography Scavenger Hunt hosted by Eileen at A Bracelet of Days – details here. I am struggling to find something for every category by the end of March, but here are my latest meagre offerings.

Peek inside: The tennis courts in Victoria Park

Horizontal: Volleyball nets in Victoria Park

A face: These lucky charms were in the window of a Chinese restaurant in Cowbridge Road East

A treasured item: I am very fond of this earthenware jug – the Celtic letter on the side is the logo of St David’s Hall in Cardiff and we were given this souvenir on a guided tour before its opening in 1982

An opening: Behind the goal posts of the five-a-side football pitch in Victoria Park

An opening: Another opening of sorts, in railings outside a property in Cowbridge Road East

A set of three: This wasn’t what I envisaged for this challenge, but there are three sister trees planted together in Victoria Park – I don’t know the species yet

Black and white: A pied wagtail (Motacilla alba) dashing around the pavement
Thanks to the organiser for a challenging list of subjects – I look forward to seeing everyone else’s choices.
