Something that starts with the initial of your name (first or last): P is for Pat and for Passionflower or in Latin Passiflora – this beautiful one was growing in a garden alongside the street on a recent walk…
Earlier in the year I signed up for the Summer Photography Scavenger Hunt hosted by Mary-Lou at Patio Postcards – details here. During this coronavirus lockdown it has been a challenge to find the items, but here is my final selection…

Something that displays a rule(s): Part of my working life in the Cardiff Council Highways department involves replacing damaged or faded road signs – so it’s lovely to see a brand new shiny one…

Something with rough texture: Trunk of a chestnut tree…

Something heavier than your shoe: I was a bit stuck for this, as so many things are heavier than my shoe – but as my microwave caught fire this week and I had to put it out for collection by the council, I am very aware how heavy it was…
Thanks to the organiser for a great list of subjects – I only regret that there were so few items left to tick off in September. I look forward to seeing other participants’ interpretations.
This is the full list of subjects: A favourite piece of jewellery * Something with or in a knot * Something with the colours of your country’s flag * A toy you play with * Something you have more than one of * Something in the shape of a triangle * Something that displays a rule(s) * A leaf longer than your hand * Something that starts with the initial of your name (first or last) * Something smaller than a paper clip * Something you need to throw away * Something that holds your favourite beverage * A rubber band/elastic in use * Something with wheels * Something inherited * Something with rough texture * Something naturally round * Something that can go in the water * A stone/rock/pebble with some colour in it * Something with the number 7 in it
Alternatives: An animal statue * Something heavier than your shoe * Something with four sides

Thanks for joining in Pat, you had some brilliant finds in the SPSH. Oh a microwave fire, thankfully you were not hurt. Happy weekend.
Sorry to reply so late! I really enjoyed your photography hunt in these restrictive times 🙂
